Public consultation on draft BEREC Guidelines on the Criteria for a Consistent Application of Article 61 (3) EECC
During its 43rd plenary meeting (11-12 June 2020) the Board of Regulators approved the draft BEREC Guidelines on the Criteria for a Consistent Application of Article 61 (3) EECC for public consultation.
By 21 December 2020 BEREC shall issue the above mentioned Guidelines. The Guidelines will provide guidance to the National Regulatory Authorities on criteria to determine key aspects for the application of Article 61(3) EECC, notably the access points, new and small network deployments, and high and non-transitory barriers to replication. NRAs shall take these Guidelines into utmost account. The Guidelines shall contribute to the harmonisation of the application of symmetric access regulation.
All stakeholders were invited to submit their inputs on the draft Guidelines by 31 July 2020 17:00 CEST to [email protected].
In accordance with the BEREC policy on public consultations, BEREC will publish a summary of all contributions received. All contributions will be published on the BEREC website, taking into account requests for confidentiality. Any such requests should clearly indicate which information is considered confidential. It is also possible to send both a confidential and a public version.
