DMA High-Level Group

A High-Level Group, composed of 30 representatives coming from five European networks and bodies, is set up under Article 40 of the Regulation (EU) 2022/1925 of the European Parliament and of the Council on contestable and fair markets in the digital sector – the Digital Markets Act (DMA). This Group is composed of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications, the European Data Protection Supervisor and European Data Protection Board, the European Competition Network, the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network, and the European Regulatory Group of Audiovisual Media Regulators.

The High-Level Group provides the European Commission (EC) with advice and expertise on any general matter of implementation or enforcement of the DMA, with the aim of promoting a consistent regulatory approach across different regulatory instruments. It can also provide expertise to the EC on the need to amend, add or remove rules in the DMA, to ensure that digital markets across the Union are contestable and fair.

The High-Level Group has a mandate of two years and meets at least once per year.
