BEREC event 2014

On 26 February 2014 in Stockholm (Sweden) BEREC held a Workshop with stakeholders on relevant markets, kindly hosted by the BEREC Chair 2014, Mr Göran MARBY - Director-General of the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).

The Workshop was open to all stakeholders interested in the topic and was attended by more than 180 participants (80 from NRAs, 90 from Stakeholders and 10 from EU Institutions and the EFTA SA).

The Workshop was organised in 4 sessions dedicated to the following topics:

• Presentation of the draft Recommendation by the European Commission;
• Review of the market development in the longer term by the BEREC Chair;
• Panel discussion on the relevant markets recommendation;
• Panel discussion on future evolution.

The outcome of the Workshop was presented to the public at a debriefing held in Brussels on 6 March 2014.
