Following the limited review on the implementation of Internal Control Standards in BEREC Office, the Internal Audit Service (IAS) of the European Commission will undertake a follow-up on outstanding recommendations, which is announced with the current letter.

Additional information:
According to Article 14 “Internal control systems” of the BEREC Regulation the Internal Auditor of the Commission shall be responsible for auditing the Office. In that respect in 2011 the BEREC Office and the IAS signed the Mission Charter, which provides the frameworks for the audits of the IAS.
