According to Article 14 of Regulation (EC) N 1211/2009 the Internal Auditor of the Commission shall be responsible for auditing the Office. In that respect following a Decision of the BEREC Office Management Committee (MC) the BEREC Office and the Commission Internal Auditor Service signed the Mission Charter of the Commission Internal Audit Service in Relation to Traditional Agencies and Independent Bodies.

The Charter was signed by the BEREC Office Administrative Manager on 03.10.2011 and the Chair of the BEREC Office MC on 13.10.2011.
