New BEREC Statement on the independence of National Regulatory Authorities

After the BoR discussion on the NRAs independence which took place at the plenary meeting on 11-12 June 2020 it was decided that BEREC will update its statement on NRAs’ independence from 2012. It was agreed that a timely BEREC public intervention on the background of recent national initiatives impacting on NRAs’ independence is needed, and that the documents requires aligning to the new provisions of the EECC.
