Public consultation on draft BEREC Guidelines on common approaches to the identification of the network termination point in different network topologies
During its 40th plenary meeting (3-4 October 2019, Crete) the Board of Regulators approved the draft BEREC Guidelines on common approaches to the identification of the network termination point in different network topologies for public consultation.
By 21 June 2020 BEREC shall adopt the above mentioned Guidelines, in order to contribute to a consistent definition of the location of network termination points by NRAs, according to Article 61(7) of the European Electronic Communications Code. NRAs shall take utmost account of these Guidelines when defining the location of network termination points. The Guidelines shall contribute to the harmonisation of the location of network termination points in the EU.
All stakeholders were invited to submit their inputs on the draft Guidelines by 21 November 2019 17:00 CET to [email protected]. Contributions should preferably be submitted in English and include reference to relevant paragraphs or sections of the Guidelines in order to facilitate their processing.
In accordance with the BEREC policy on public consultations, BEREC will publish a summary of all contributions received. All contributions will be published on the BEREC website, taking into account requests for confidentiality. Any such requests should clearly indicate which information is considered confidential. It is also possible to send both a confidential and a public version.
