Public consultation 08/12 in relation to the new Roaming Regulation

Following the approval of Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2012 on roaming on public mobile communications networks within the Union (recast), BEREC held a public consultation on two draft BEREC documents, as follows:

1)  Draft BEREC Guidelines on the application of Article 3 of the Roaming Regulation – Wholesale Roaming Access.

2)  Draft Roaming Regulation – Choice of the Decoupling Method – A consultation to assist BEREC in preparing advice to the Commission on its forthcoming Implementing Act, which was prepared by BERECwith the objective to assist the Commission in assessing the pros and cons of the different possible decoupling solutions.

Within this public consultation BEREC received more than 50 contributions. The summary of the results from the consultation, as well as the individual contributions received will be published in the forthcoming months. the full list of the contributions received can be cosnulted here.
