Up-dated Preliminary Schedule for the BEREC and Contact Network meeting in 2016

According to Article 4 (6) of the BEREC Regulation the Board of Regulators shall meet at least four times a year in ordinary session, which shall be convened by its Chair. The ordinary meetings of the Board of Regulators are prepared by a specific type of Expert Working Group, called “Contact Network”, which is composed of senior representatives of all Members, chaired by a representative of the Chair of the Board of Regulators. he Rules of Procedure of the Board of Regulators also state that any BEREC member may host a meeting of the Board of Regulators. This provision is applied by analogy for the meetings of the Contact Network. The final decision about the meeting dates and the meeting host is entrusted to the BEREC Chair. In that respect, following a call for expression of interest for hosting BEREC meetings in 2016, the Incoming BEREC Chair, Mr Wilhelm Eschweiler - Vice president of the Bundesnetzagentur (BentzA) Germany, has approved the preliminary schedule for the ordinary BEREC and Contact Network (CN) in 2016, which is presented below to the attention of interested parties.

The BEREC and Contact Network meeting are open for participation only to BEREC members and observers. However, with a view to incising transparency, after each plenary meeting BEREC will organise a public meeting in order to present the outcome of the meetings, which indicative schedule is also included in the list provided below.

The public debriefings are open to the public but are subject to prior registration through the BEREC website.
