PRD on Guidelines for the implementation of NN provisions of the TSM Regulation

Article 4(5) Telecoms Single Market Regulation requires BEREC to lay down guidelines for the implementation of the obligations of NRAs related to the supervision, enforcement and transparency measures for ensuring open Internet access.

These guidelines should contribute to the consistent application of the Regulation, and be produced after consulting stakeholders and in close cooperation with the European Commission. The guidelines shall be adopted no later than 9 months after the Regulation enters into force.

Taking into account the short deadline for finalising the preparation of such Guidelines the BEREC Chair has proposed starting immediately work on the BEREC deliverable. Therefore, on 20 August 2015, by electronic voting procedure, the BoR approved the Project Requirements Document (PRD) for the elaboration of the respective BEREC guidelines.
